Fortunately, I've dedicated this weekend to finishing unfinished writing. This may not include actually putting it up, which is tedious, time-consuming, and not fun at all, but I'll finish it, and perhaps even edit some of it if it's had time to stew first. Then I can upload things in stages as I have the free time (and the homework to avoid).
I'm also working on a Valentine's Day story which may or may not happen by Valentine's Day. I find it rather amusing that the only holiday I've ever consistently written stories for is Valentine's Day, which is also the holiday I like the least. Not because I don't have a boyfriend, mind you, but because it tends to bring out the worst of shallow behavior in many of my peers. -_- Then again, note that most of my Valentine's Day stories are rather dark.... (And the only one I ever posted online I took down because it creeped me out.)
Since this entry seems to be about my writing, I feel that I should mention that the writing I have here on Deviantart is a very small percentage of what I've actually written and put online. Everything else is on my website , and it'd be very cool if you checked it out. Very cool indeed. *puppy eyes* Why don't I put more of it on Deviantart? Because uploading things is tedious and annoying as it is, and the number of steps involved in putting anything up on Deviantart makes me reluctant to bother unless I have a lot of spare time. I'm trying to be better about it, but since my computer - even my sporty new super-fast laptop - takes about 2 minutes to load each Devart page, it's still frustrating enough that sometimes I'll even quit halfway through. Still, I'm trying, so bear with me.
And, leaving the writing ranch, I'm hoping to get some more photos up soon. I work at the barn in the evenings, and get to see some GORGEOUS sights that no one else is around to see, so I've decided to haul a camera out there and start taking photographs. Our barn is ideally placed for shots of the sky in particular, and no one else is ever there for me to point it out to. *sad* There was one beautiful scene the other night with the full moon, and a cloud over it like a thin veil.... That was when I decided to bring the camera out. It's a film one, not digital, but hey, that's what scanners are for. Now if only I can find the right battery for the danged thing....
